NEW! M62 Restoration Project

MILITARY VEHICLES

Parts/Club Site List

A Little About Myself...

I have my father, Bob, to thank for catching the 'restoration' bug. While he concentrated on civilian vehicles, I developed a taste for US Army vehicles (specifically those used in the Vietnam War). With his help, my M151-A1 turned out amazingly well considering the state it was in.

I can't believe another year has gone by so quickly. Not much to say this time around...

The wrecker is coming along nicely. Managed to get a new wiring loom, and (although it was different to the original) managed to get it in and pretty much working. Still looking to find a few more bits and pieces - but that's part of the fun! We're trying to ensure that all of the equipment is authentic too - and that in itself is a major chore.

The Jeep is ready to go back over on it's wheels now all of the underbody welding is complete. Come better weather that's top of the list of things to get done.

The Mule stalled for a while waiting parts - now I've got some, I intend to crack on with that too.

I'll add more pictures when I get a chance, but for now I'll have to look at trimming some of the older images down a bit - getting close to my web-space limit.

The rear bed on Iron Butterfly is being rebuilt with a view to installing a vehicle intercom system. It will take a while, and we'll probably gas enable the .50s at the same time.

Contact Information

I've had to remove email addresses - far too much spam being sent to the addresses hived from the site - sorry! As usual the selfish few spoil it for everyone.

I'll be detailing things like differences in turn signal assemblies (got a bit delayed here - there are quite a few)!

Please take the time to check out the link pages. There are some extremely good sources of information contained there.
